SUMMER SCHOOL — HOW TO START A MEDIA CAREER - 13/08/2007
Places are filling up for this one-day introduction on how to go about getting a career in the media, be it journalism, PR, TV or radio. Available dates are 18 and 24 August. Cost is just £99 including VAT.
This workshop is a great way of finding out if a journalism career is the way you want to go, before you invest time, money and commitment into a college or university course. The day gives a real insight into what it's like to work as a journalist, through the experiences of seasoned professionals. There's lots of practical work involved, including interviewing, writing news, features, headlines and subbing. The workshop is held at our Centre for Media Excellence, which is close to Camden High Street, London. The day is open to everyone aged 16-24.
